Hand Therapy of Colorado was founded in 2000 by Susan Betz, OTD, OTR, CHT. Susan has more than 30 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) specializing in Hand Therapy. She was among the first group of hand therapists in the country to receive the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation.

Her passion for providing the best in patient care led Susan to be the first person in Colorado to earn her doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD), with an emphasis in Hand Therapy, in 2007. In 2006, she was presented with the “Outstanding Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapist of the Year” award by Colorado Professionals in Workers’ Compensation.
